Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Vokter provides a production-ready smart contract wallet service for the Solana blockchain with a 2-of-2 multisig architecture and TOTP authentication. The service includes a browser extension wallet and a separated Guardian service for off-chain TOTP verification.

2. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• • Securing their private keys and recovery phrases
• • Maintaining access to their TOTP authenticator
• • Keeping their extension password secure
• • Understanding the risks associated with blockchain technology
• • Complying with applicable laws and regulations

3. Security Features

Vokter implements the following security measures:

• • 2-of-2 multisig architecture requiring dual signatures
• • TOTP authentication with Google Authenticator
• • Guardian service for off-chain verification
• • Local encryption of private keys with AES-256-GCM
• • Non-custodial design - Vokter does not hold user funds

4. Guardian Service

The Guardian service is a separated off-chain component that:

• • Verifies TOTP codes against wallet-specific secrets
• • Provides cryptographic signatures for transactions
• • Operates on AWS infrastructure with comprehensive monitoring
• • Implements rate limiting and abuse protection
• • Maintains business continuity and recovery procedures

5. Risks and Limitations

Users acknowledge the following risks:

• • Loss of private keys or recovery phrases results in permanent fund loss
• • Loss of TOTP access may require recovery procedures
• • Guardian service availability affects transaction capability
• • Smart contract risks inherent to blockchain technology
• • Regulatory changes may affect service availability
• • Risks associated with guardian service availability and potential service disruptions

6. Fees and Economics

Vokter charges a 0.25% transaction fee with a 0.001 SOL base fee. Minimum transfer amount is 0.02 SOL. Fees may change over time and by network conditions. Network fees apply in addition to Vokter fees.

7. Development Status

Vokter v3.0 is currently deployed and tested on Solana devnet. The production-ready implementation requires a professional security audit before mainnet deployment. Investment funding will enable this critical security validation.

Vokter provides this service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• • Recovery of lost funds or access
• • Compliance with all regulatory requirements
• • Future functionality or feature availability

9. Limitation of Liability

Vokter's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by the user in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

Vokter reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Users will be notified of material changes.
